On Tuesday, March 28th, the US Food and Drug Administration approved a second booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna Covid-19 vaccines out of a concern for a potential surge in cases due to the BA.2 variant. It is to be available to all adults 50 years or older as well as immunocompromised individuals, four months after their first booster.
